Actually, today there are even less people satisfied with their eating habits and body. Ask them, they all have something they don't like about their habits, about themselves. We are somehow emerged in this system that is fueling us with limitations, criticism and discontentment. Then we rush to buy new super foods, buy new trainings, go to the pharmacists... over and over again. It is a vicious cycle.

You probably already know that the reason many of us can't easily achieve diet goals we set for ourselves is because we have either not adopted the healthy habits, or because we’ve adopted unhealthy habits that block us. A habit is just an automatic pattern of repeating the same behavior over and over again. Habits are powerful because they happen unconsciously, and the conscious will-power is never enough to overcome them.
If probed from another angle, our habits can give us valuable insights that are the key to a long-lasting change. This means that you can re-design new unconscious strategies that will help yu arrange your environment to resolve bad habits and acquire the ones that will lead you to success and fulfillment. There are a number of healthy lifestyle habits out there, that can help you in leading an empowered life. So many in fact, that many people get lost in the endless stream of new information, almost completely ignoring their own capacities. The truth is, we know exactly what nutrition and lifestyle is the right one for us, we are just not aware if it. Though a healthy lifestyle seems to be a physical fact – it incorporates mental and emotional health as well. Even though these components may take some time to mature, once they do they are well worth the effort. It is only by incorporating all three levels, that we can achieve the permanent change.
All other aspects of our life: family, relationships, career, self-esteem... are tightly bound to our health and our own perception of satisfaction. This is why so many people want to improve their lifestyle and get rid of all the unhealthy habits on their way, once and for all.
Something life coaches will usually tell you to do is to develop: the discipline. This is definitelly one of the steps when reaching your goals, but it is not always easy to do. If you have found yourself in a loop of always spinning in circles and having only temporary results, then the problem is definitely not your discipline. There is some kind of unconscious block that is in some way not allowing you to have what you want. There is some kind of program that needs that unhealthy habits because they are helping it cope with some other problem. The best way to overcome that problem is not by ignoring it or being strict to yourself, but by resolving it on another level. Otherwise, it will come back after a while much stronger than before and leave us frustrated each time.
If you are in that loop, then I would recommend not to follow any diets for the time being and start working on that problem from the psychological angle. 21. 10.2023. - 28. 10.2023Being disciplined requires the ability to put emotions aside. However, when we do that too often, we become robots, which is not a nice way of living life. Life is meaningful to us when we can see, hear, taste, smell and touch our environment and enjoy all the qualities it gives us. If we put the emotions aside, then we are ignoring our very essence. So the point isn't really to put our emotions aside, but to deal with them. When emotions overcome us and increase our urge to eat, we can take the time to acknowledge and address them. To find out why they are here, and what is it that they need. We have to find out their positive intention. Taking time to understand our emotions is crucial when we want to make a lasting change.
However, it isn't always easy to stop yourself and acknowledge your emotions, and this is the kind of discipline I am talking about. Most people think discipline means sticking to their TO-DO list and ignoring their desires, urges and emotions. This is the biggest mistake you can do, because if emotions remain unsolved, they will come back stronger than ever. In order to practice that kind of discipline you have to take responsibility for your emotions and actions, and then work on them. I would recommend to work with an expert to help you do that. As our emotions, habits, urges etc. are our unconscious programs, they are not always easy to solve on the conscious level, in other words by yourself.

Let's courseFor many people, discipline also involves renunciation and sacrifice. If we are dealing with a problem from this perspective, then not much will change. Actually, the very opposite will happen. The important thing is to always bear in mind your end goal and reframe your thoughts toward sacrifice and renunciation. Adopt attitudes and beliefs, that are going to help you achieve your goal. For example the perception: 'I am giving the most amazing gift to myself -HEALTH' instead of the perception: 'I am sacrificing my comfort' will make a huge change in your attitude. It will take you a long way, all the while making you feel good. Having a clear structured perception like that in your mind is going to support your new journey.
Sometimes our beliefs will have a huge impact on our goals. Our beliefs have the power to sabotage us and our 'discipline' indefinitely. Until we don't replace them with the beliefs that will support our vision and our goal, you won't be able to make a lasting change. Our unconscious programs like beliefs are more powerful than our will-power or discipline, and sooner or later, they are going to bring us back to our comfort zone. However, if we change the operational settings of our comfort zone, then the programs will do everything to bring us to that new level. BELIEF CHANGETaking responsibility is the hardest part for most people when trying to create a lasting change in their lives. It is not always easy to take responsibility for the things that are happening to us, because it is easier to blame it on other people, events, circumstances, weather, fool moon, period, money, things, etc. These are all signs of not taking responsibility.
When we are in that state of blaming someone or something for our misfortune, we are taking the power away from us and giving it to this other object or person. This is the most effective way to destroy our self-esteem, and create all kinds of limiting beliefs to sabotage us even further. However, when we want to really achieve something, then we have to take that power back to us.
Each one of us has the potential to do and create miraculous things with our power – so don't give it away! It's yours. Blame it on yourself in a way that will empower you to take the right steps, regardless what other people think, do or tell you. Take the matter into your own hands and ask yourself: What can I do to make this happen? What resources do I have? What resources do I lack? How can I get there? What are the next steps that I can take? What is it that I am not doing and would like to do? How can I create ways to accomplish this? How can I make myself feel better?
The power is in YOUR hands. TAKE IT.
Exercise is the second most important thing of a healthy lifestyle. The benefits it provides are endless: thought clarity, vitality, more energy, improved mood, physical and emotional balance, lowered stress and anxiety, a stronger heart, increased muscle mass, a sharper mind, and so much more.
You don’t have to be a professional football player to have these benefits, a half an hour walk few times a week is all it takes to start feeling better. If you don't like walking, then you can ride a bike, take the stairs, do housework or dance to your favourite music. Do something you genuinely enjoy doing, and do it consistently. Your unconscious mind creates habits through repetition.
This is why discipline or consistent effort are so important. As Aristotle said thousands of years ago: Repetition is the mother of knowledge. Shortly, your exercise will soon become a daily routine, that you can always improve.
Sleep is as vital to the body as nutrition and exercise. Your body uses REM sleep to repair cells, and it is responsible for muscle regeneration, digestion, better mood, concentration, memory, beauty, organizing information we perceive throughout the day and much more. It gives you the required energy to achieve your goals, so make a good routine out of it and give yourself 7 hours of sleep every night.
The true pandemic illness of modern age – stress. How can we live our lives without it? Is there a way to lessen it? How can we apply these ways, when we don't have time for it, and it is stressful just taking time to get over stress?!
Stress harms the body and the mind in very real ways. When you’re stressed, your body releases cortisol - the 'fight or flight' hormone, which over the long term can lead to anxiety disorders, depression, weight gain, decreased focus, a lowered immune system, lack of sleep, bad digestion, etc. Healthy habits like relaxation, meditation, visualization and practicing gratitude are all mindfulness techniques that can avoid negative side effects of stress. If you don't have the time to incorporate them in your life, then you are not alone. The frantic lifestyle we live in became the rule of operation for many people, and it is not so easy to unlearn it.
The most important thing to learn is to take responsibility for your own life. If you don't care for it, nobody else will. Put your peace of mind high on your priority list and let nothing distract you for giving yourself few minutes of love every day. If you have 10 minutes a day, good. If you have 30 minutes a day, good. Make the most out of it. The best time for a mindful meditation or visualisation is right after you wake up and just before you go to sleep. This way your unconscious mind will pick up all the benefits of your new healthy routine.
If you want to have more quality in your life, then you have to make your goals clearly structured in your mind. Clear vision is the foundation for being motivated to purpue your goals. So take a peace of paper and right down your outcomes, clearly and precisely. Decide in advance to move to the next level of quality life.
Than state exactly how that life looks like, feels like and sounds like. When you are done, feel and visualize having already achieved your outcome. By visualizing, we create new neurological connections in our brains. As our mind doesn't know if we are imagining something or experiencing it real time – it will start working toward your vision. It will fire off all known mechanisms to bring to you whatever you focus on. If you focus on stress, the more of it you will get. If you focus on your goal, then this is wha you will get. I mean, what is the chance of having the best experience of life without knowing and designing it in advance? Highly unlikely. If you want consistent quality in your life, then you have to decide what outcome you want.
